Here’s how it all started:

Jan 2024

The Spark Behind Kiki by Ishika Agrawal

In January 2024, as Ishika Agrawal prepared for her brother’s wedding, she found the perfect designer dress but was overwhelmed by the price tag. She realized she would only wear it once, and with an already overflowing closet, the idea of storing it made no sense.

That’s when it hit her: Why not rent a beautiful dress for special occasions instead of buying it?

This moment of frustration led to the creation of Kiki by Ishika Agrawal. The platform offers stylish, high-quality occasion wear for rent — giving women access to designer dresses without the financial burden or closet clutter. Whether it’s a wedding, gala, or celebration, Kiki allows women to look their best, without the commitment of ownership.

March 2024

Building Kiki

In March 2024, Ishika Agrawal worked tirelessly to launch Kiki by Ishika Agrawal. She conducted market research through surveys and Instagram polls to understand what women wanted in occasion wear. 

This feedback shaped her vision for the brand. 

 She attended fashion exhibitions and dove into R&D to stay on top of trends and discover the best fabrics and designs. 

 Ishika built a reliable delivery management system to ensure timely deliveries and set up a specialized cleaning process to maintain the quality and hygiene check of every outfit.

On top of that, she forged strong relationships with designers for procurement, securing a curated collection of high-end pieces for rent. By March 2024, Kiki was ready to offer women a seamless, stylish way to dress for special occasions — without the hassle of ownership.

January 20th, 2025: 

Kiki by Ishika Agrawal is Born

After months of hard work, late nights, and countless revisions, Ishika Agrawal and her core team — with the help of a dedicated group of interns — are finally ready to introduce Kiki by Ishika Agrawal to the world.

The platform, designed to offer stylish, high-quality occasion wear for rent, was officially launched on January 20th, 2025. The team has worked tirelessly to ensure the experience is seamless, from easy online browsing to timely delivery and expert garment care. This launch marks the beginning of a new chapter for fashion rental, empowering women to look their best for every special occasion without the burden of buying and storing expensive outfits.

FAQ - Rental

Can we extend the rental duration ?

Please inform us in advance if you wish to extend the rental period. An

additional charge of 10% of the rental fee will be applicable per day for any

extra days.

What condition are the items in?

Being a premium rental service all our garments are in good condition, we at

Kiki get the outfits treated for hygiene standards after every booking.

What if I receive an item that doesn’t fit?

If the item doesn’t fit, kindly note that we deliver the garment well before the

event date and every outfit has ample alternation margin, which can be

undertaken at your end.

What about the transportation /Shipping ?

Transportation / Shipping is Complimentary (Free ) with Team Kiki .Once

you select your delivery location and process the initial payment, our

Relationship Manager (RM) will contact you for delivery details.

How can I get to feel the outfit in person before placing the order ?

You can visit any of our two flagship store at Amravati ( Maharashtra) or

Indore (M.P.) with a prior appointment and check on the outfit in person

What are the Payment terms for Rentals ?

The total billing amount has two components : Rental Amount + Security Deposit

Amount

1) Rental Amount , as actual mentioned on the website, 40% paid as a advance deposit at the time of booking the order and 60% paid as COD

2) Security Deposit Amount , equal to the total rental amount , payable as COD ( it is refundable within 7 days from the date we receive the outfit back at our store and the Quality check )

Rental Price is inclusive of doorstep delivery, doorstep pickup,

alteration, Dryclean & 4 days of rental cost.

When will I get the delivery of my booked outfit ?

We deliver early, always :

At Kiki we follow a 4 days booking window, as such your dream outfit reaches

your doorstep 2 days before the date of your event to manage trials and last

minute fittings , 3rd day is to slay at the event , while the 4th day is to pack and

initiate the return to the kiki store.

What sizes does KIKI carry?

All our dresses are designed to fit a wide range of sizes, including Small,

Medium, Large, and Extra Large. We offer a variety of styles to ensure a

perfect fit for all body types.

FAQ - Buying

What condition are the items in?

All our garments are brand new. You’ll always receive fresh, never-worn

pieces which are carefully curated for you.

Do you offer pre-delivery trials?

Yes, we can arrange pre-delivery trials at an additional cost. Please connect

with our Relationship Manager to schedule and discuss further details.

What about the transportation?

Transportation / Shipping is Complimentary (Free ) with Team Kiki .Once

you select your delivery location and process the initial payment, our

Relationship Manager (RM) will contact you for delivery details.

What sizes does KIKI carry?

We offer wide standard sizing option to choose from – XS, S, M, L and XL. The

outfits are tailor made to suit the customer’s fit for all body types.

What happens if an item arrives damaged?

If you receive a damaged item, please notify us immediately. We’ll work

quickly to resolve the issue. To help us assist you faster, kindly take a photo of

the damaged item and contact us as soon as possible. Please ensure the item is

in its original condition.

What are the Payment terms ?

The total billing amount has two components : Advance + Balance Amount

1) Advance Amount , is 30% of the Outfit amount payable while booking

2) Balance Amount , is remaining 70% of the Outfit amount payable as

COD

When will I get the delivery of my booked outfit ?

We require 15 working days to deliver your outfit.

What if I receive an item that doesn’t fit?

If the item doesn’t fit, you can get the fitting done at your end as we ensure

that each garment has ample scope for future alternation.
